So besides my fuzzy hair, lack of makeup and the fact that I look like I am not wearing a shirt...the best family picture in awhile. : )

We were close enough that Grandma J and Great Grandpa could come for a visit. We managed a walk to the beach and dinner for their visit. Well I guess a lite jog back from the beach in the rain!!

I decided to call this trip the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good.
The kids were well behaved for the 6 hour journey in the car.

Jadyn had a great time with her friend Mia.

The area was beautiful.

Jadyn got to fish.

And even "caught" one, but no matter what anyone says I DID NOT find these little critters tasty.

The Bad.

It started raining at about 4am on Thursday night and did not stop until Friday afternoon. On the bright side we got to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa in Fernie while we waited out the rain.

Saturday rained on and off all day also, so we were thankful to crash in peoples trailers.

And last the Ugly.

Our car overheated waiting in traffic on highway 3 trying to get home. A 3.5 hour drive took about 9 hours by the time we finally got home.

Even with the "Bad" and the "Ugly" we still had a great time and the kids had fun, so until next time.
